Project #13 – FUNDED! – Building Materials for Lighthouse Baptist Mission, Sominot

Celso Cordero Jr (Pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Molave – see Project #2) has started a mission church in the remote mountain village of Barangay Lantawan, Sominot. They have built a small one-room church, to reach the Subanon tribespeople in this area. They need some lumber, plywood, and cement to finish this simple building.

Ministry Fellowship International is a section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization; therefore donations may qualify as charitable deductions for federal income tax purposes. However, Ministry Fellowship International does not provide advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts. We encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers regarding the tax treatment of their donations.

Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of Ministry Fellowship International. We will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of Ministry Fellowship International.

100% of net funds donated for a specific project will be used solely for that project, unless:

the fundraising goal for the project has already been met,
the church secures other funding for their project,
the church cancels their project or reduces its scope,
the church changes their doctrinal position, ceases to exist, etc., or
other circumstances prevent Ministry Fellowship International from continuing with the project.

In the event that funds (up to the fundraising goal) are not used for their specified project, Ministry Fellowship International will notify the donors (at their last known email address) and offer them the opportunity to redirect their donation to another project of their choice.

Funds for any given project will be released on a schedule agreed upon by Ministry Fellowship International, the national pastor and his sending church. This is to maintain fiscal accountability and assure funds are properly spent.

All donated funds become the property of Ministry Fellowship International and cannot be returned or refunded for any reason. However, all funds will be allocated to the requested project, or to an alternate project in the cases noted above.
